EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, announces the promotion of Chris Folz and Jake Riedford.

Chris Folz has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Folz will oversee all aspects of the portfolio investment and asset management functions for RCA and its subsidiaries.

Folz joined Regency in 2007 and has previously held positions as Vice President of Asset Management and Finance, Senior Director of Asset Management, Director of Acquisitions, Leasing Representative, Project Manager and was an intern before graduating college. Folz received a Bachelor of Science in Business with Distinction from Indiana University with a triple major in Accounting, Finance-Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship. He is currently an alumni coordinator for Indiana University’s Center for Real Estate Studies and is professionally affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers having earned the designation of Certified Leasing Specialist. He served as the organization’s Indiana Operations Chair for 3 years and Indiana Government Relations Chair for 2 years. Folz is a Certified Public Accountant and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Indiana.

Jake Riedford has been promoted to Director of Asset Management. Riedford will provide analysis in determining property buy/sell decisions and provide financial analysis to track property performance. He will also be responsible for the preparation and overview of the asset strategy plan as part of an annual comprehensive business plan for each property.

Riedford joined Regency in 2020 and previously held positions such as Asset Management Analyst and Asset Manager. Jake is an Evansville native and graduated from Indiana University with his Bachelors in Math, Economics, and a minor in Business. He also earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
