Regency Properties Acquires Three Retail Shopping Centers in West Virginia

Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, recently acquired two centers in Elkins, WV and one center in Summersville, WV. With this acquisition, Regency now owns and manages four properties in West Virginia including Country Roads Plaza in Hinton. The three centers will add a combined total of 319,194 square feet to Regency’s growing portfolio.

Merchants Walk in Summersville, WV, is a 145, 127 square foot retail shopping center.  This shopping center has a great mix of national and regional tenants which include: Dollar Tree, AT&T, Hibbett Sports, Peebles, and Anytime Fitness. There are a few spaces available for lease in this center.

Valley Pointe in Elkins, WV, is 118,379 square feet and is anchored by Peebles.  The center also features regional and local tenants such as Mattress Warehouse, Game Stop, El Herradura, and GNC.

The Plantation in Elkins, WV, is a 55,688 square feet shopping center anchored by Goodwill.  This retail shopping center has a strong line up of national tenants such as Dollar Tree, Anytime Fitness, and Cricket Wireless.  The daily average traffic count for this center is 19,553.

“We are thrilled to have closed on the West Virginia portfolio,” stated Chris Folz, Director of Acquisitions.   “We are eager to increase our concentration in this area.”
