Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, recently acquired Green River Plaza in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The property is visible from Campbellsville Bypass, which is one of the main roads in Campbellsville. The acquisition will be the 2nd in the state and has pushed Regency’s portfolio to over 5 million square feet with this 203,239-square foot shopping center.
Green River Plaza is a grocery anchored center with several national and regional tenants such as Kroger, Burke’s Outlet, Tractor Supply Company, JC Penney, and Goody’s. Campbellsville is the dominant retail hub for Taylor County. Regency Properties plans to spend over a million dollars in renovations inclusive of exterior façade, parking lot, and roof repairs. This center has potential to include an outlot building as well as an expansion to accommodate even more tenants.
“Campbellsville represents the ideal County Seat Community we strive to work in.” said Jeff Howell, Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. “As our portfolio continues to grow, it is essential to continue to find communities like Campbellsville for Regency to display our award-winning customer service skills.”
