Regency Announces Executive Team Changes

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Regency, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, announces changes in its Executive Management Team.

Jonathon Farmer has been appointed Vice President of Accounting and Treasurer. He will have responsibility for Regency’s accounting, tax, financial planning and reporting functions. Farmer has previously served as Controller and Assistant Controller since joining Regency in 2019. He has previous experience in fund accounting and public accounting holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Indiana and Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Farmer received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.  His civic engagements include serving as Rotary Club President, Elks Club Exalted Ruler, and Treasurer of The Brownsville School Foundation.

Chris Folz, with over 15 years of progressive real estate experience, has been appointed Vice President of Asset Management and Finance with responsibility for Regency’s asset management and finance functions. Folz previously held the positions of Senior Director of Asset Management, Director of Acquisitions, Leasing Representative, and Project Manager since joining Regency in 2007. He also served as an intern while completing his college degree. Folz received a Bachelor of Science in Business with Distinction from Indiana University with a triple major in Accounting, Finance-Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship. He is currently an alumni coordinator for Indiana University’s Center for Real Estate Studies. He is professionally affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers having earned the designation of Certified Leasing Specialist. He served as the organization’s Indiana Operations Chair for 3 years and Indiana Government Relations Chair for 2 years. Folz is a Certified Public Accountant and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Indiana.

Additionally, Kevin Rock, Vice President of Accounting/Finance, CFO, and Treasurer has resigned to pursue other family interests and Jeff Howell, Senior Vice President and CIO has expressed his intent to retire at the end of 2021. Mr. Howell will work with Mr. Folz during the transition.
