EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, announces the following Executive team changes:
Jim Wittman, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has accepted an executive position at another real estate company effective September 1, 2021.
Jim has been employed at Regency for more than 20 years and has played a critical role in building the company to where it is today. Jim has put together a great team that will continue his legacy of achievement.
“I am grateful for all the education and experiences that Regency has given me,” stated Jim Wittman, “I look forward to watching this great team push the company to higher peaks.”
Kevin Hammett, President and CEO states “We are thankful for Jim’s dedication and service to Regency over the years and congratulate him on his new endeavor. Jim’s passion and commitment to Regency will be sincerely missed.”
Jeff Howell, Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, who had previously announced his retirement at the end of 2021, has agreed to extend his retirement date into 2022. Jeff will return to his “roots” in the Property Management area to lead these functions that previously reported to Jim Wittman.
Jamie Edmonson has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Leasing reporting directly to the CEO.
Mr. Edmonson has over 23 years of experience in retail real estate, legal, lease administration, accounting, construction, property management and store operations at Hibbett Sports, Inc.
“Jamie has extensive retail real estate experience and I look forward to his leadership of our Leasing team’” stated Kevin Hammett, President and CEO. “We have tremendous bench strength at Regency which continues to serve us well as we look forward to our continued growth.”
