Bedford Plaza will soon feature a new Subway restaurant, according to shopping center owner and manager, Regency Properties. The new Subway is a relocation and upgrade of an existing one currently located down the road on US 50. The new building will feature a drive-thru and expanded seating. The franchise owner of the Subway is Chintu Patel. A new 1,200 square foot retail space attached to the new construction will be available for lease as well.

Construction of the new, free standing Subway is part of a massive, more than $600,000 renovation project by Regency Properties on the Bedford Plaza center. The renovations are facilitated by the planned road extension Plaza Drive which will create a new corridor between US 50 and John A. Williams Blvd. A new pylon will be erected as well.

Bedford Plaza is a 75,000+ square foot shopping center located on Highway 50 just west of Highway 37. Regency Properties is located in Evansville, Indiana. The company develops, manages and leases shopping centers in several states, primarily in middle American, county seat communities.
