James Wittman, vice president of development and leasing for Regency Properties, has earned the Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). ICSC grants CRX certification in recognition of mastering retailing and retail property knowledge related to the performance, profitability and executive leadership of industry organizations.
Introduced in 2014, the CRX designation is the only awarded to a select group of senior executive leaders each year. CRX designation is the only credential of its kind targeted to the retail sector executive and offering unparalleled affirmation that the designee has mastered a comprehensive body of knowledge in retailing and retail property management. In addition to eight years of qualifying industry experience, the designation requires a comprehensive credentialing exam which tests industry knowledge in all facets of retail property management.
“This accomplishment illustrates Jim’s commitment to continuing education, a core principle to Regency’s culture,” commented President and CEO Kevin Hammett. “We are pleased to have such an accomplished industry executive leading our development and leasing team at Regency.”
