Jim Wittman, vice president of development and leasing at Regency Properties, has been appointed president of Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute’s (CCIM) Indiana Chapter for 2013. The organization provides local networking and educational opportunities for commercial real estate practitioners in the state. The Indiana chapter holds monthly programs on pertinent topics, provides yearly designation course, and offers scholarships for CCIM designation courses. As president of the Indiana Chapter of CCIM, Wittman will lead one of the strongest CCIM Chapters in the country.
Wittman said, “It is an honor to work with a dedicated board to grow the CCIM brand in the state of Indiana. Our industry has spent the last few years surviving a tough real estate market. I am excited to be the chapter president in 2013 as we enter a season of new growth and promise in the commercial real estate industry. It will be exciting to lead the organization in developing new programs to help our members continue to be the best in their industry.”
Wittman joined Regency Properties in 2000 as a leasing representative and has served in a variety of roles including manager of development and director of development. Since 2009, Wittman has held the position of vice president of development and leasing, where he directs the development, leasing, and marketing of all Regency holdings, reviews new acquisitions, and negotiates any changes to anchor leases.
