Kevin Hammett, president and chief executive officer of Regency Properties, has earned the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). The designation was awarded following a demonstrated expertise in the principles of long- and short-term leasing arrangements.
ICSC established the CLS credential in 1994 to advance professional standards in shopping center leasing worldwide. The designation requires at least four years of qualified work experience in a position with substantial responsibly for leasing shopping centers. CLS certification is achieved through proven experience and expertise, passage of a rigorous half-day written examination and commitment to a code of professional ethics.
Hammett joins an elite group of real estate professionals to earn more than one designation by the ICSC. He earned the Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation in December 2012.
