Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, announced the promotion of Charles Riffert to the position of director of business management. As director of business management Riffert will be responsible for overseeing a staff of seven, including business managers, maintenance technicians and support staff in the day-to-day management of Regency’s portfolio of 3.4 million square feet of lease space in 11 states.
Riffert joined Regency Properties in 2008 as a business manager responsible for the operations of dozens of shopping centers throughout the Midwest. He has been very active in the community, holding leadership positions with the Young Professional Alliance of Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Methodist Temple United Methodist Church. Riffert graduated from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and he holds the designation of Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
