Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company that specializes in county seat communities, recently acquired Eufaula Square in Eufaula, Alabama. The acquisition is a 114,275-square foot shopping center and is Regency’s second property in Eufaula. The property is located across the street from Regency’s first shopping center, Eufaula Towne Center. With the addition of Eufaula Square, Regency now owns over 207,000 square feet of retail space in the Eufaula community. Eufaula Square is in the primary retail area and has the dominant grocery store, Winn-Dixie, for the trade area. This property features a diverse mix of national and regional tenants including, Tractor Supply, Hibbett Sports and Goody’s.
Regency Properties has multiple exterior upgrades planned for the property including a renovation of the façade and improvements to the parking lot. The upgrades, totaling over $300,000, are anticipated to be complete by the end of the year.
