Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, recently acquired Huck Finn Shopping Center in Hannibal, Mo. The acquisition, which is the company’s first in Missouri, adds 278,190 square feet of shopping center space to Regency’s growing portfolio. With the acquisition, Regency owns retail shopping centers in 12 different states throughout the Midwest and Southeast.
Huck Finn Shopping Center is located along McMasters Avenue (US Route 61) and is the primary shopping center in Marion County. The center features strong national and regional tenants such as Big Lots, JC Penney, Dollar General and Dunham Sports.
“We are excited to own our first shopping center in Missouri. Hannibal represents the ideal community for our county seat focus,” commented Jeff Howell, Regency’s vice president of acquisitions and business management. “Regency’s commitment is to attract and keep tenants that satisfy the wants and needs of local shoppers. We work hard to keep our centers attractive and well maintained, thereby creating an environment in which our tenants can be successful.”
