Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, recently acquired Granville Corners Shopping Center in Oxford, North Carolina. The 140,539-square-foot shopping center increases Regency’s total national portfolio to over 4 million square feet and joins Lumberton Towne Centre as the second Regency-owned property in North Carolina.
Granville Corners is located at 608 Granville St. off Interstate 85 and has excellent visibility from both thoroughfares. The grocery-anchored center features a mix of national and local tenants including Peebles, Roses, Beauty Smart and Little Caesars. National chains McDonalds, Cookout, and KFC are in separate outparcels in the Granville Corner parking lot. In addition to over 20 leasable spaces, the center features a 0.75-acre outparcel for future development.
“We are excited to bring our unique county seat expertise to Oxford,” stated Jeff Howell, vice president of acquisitions and business management. “Oxford is such a vibrant community and Granville Corners provides an opportunity to attract new retail tenants for the benefit of local shoppers and the local economy.”
