Kevin Hammett (CSM, CLS)
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Hammett was appointed President/Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Managers of Regency on January 1, 2012. In this role, Mr. Hammett has responsibility for the strategic direction of Regency. Mr. Hammett joined the Regency staff in July 2007 as the Vice President of Accounting and Finance/Chief Financial Officer. In addition, Mr. Hammett serves on the Board of Managers of Regency Consolidated Residential LLC in Champaign, IL.
Prior to joining Regency, Mr. Hammett had the joint responsibility of serving as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary/Treasurer of SMC Corporation of America, a pneumatic component manufacturer and distributor, and Executive Vice President and General Manager for SMC Pneumatics (Canada) Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary). He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana and has held designations as a Certified Public Accountant, Charted Global Management Accountant, and Certified Management Accountant. Mr. Hammett is a member of NAREIT, ULI, NAIOP and ICSC, recognized as a Certified Shopping Center Manager and Certified Leasing Specialist. In July 2017, Mr. Hammett completed the Harvard University School of Design’s Advance Management Development Program.
Mr. Hammett’s community involvement includes having served as President of the University of Southern Indiana Alumni Association; Chair and Executive Committee member of the USI Foundation Board of Directors; Campaign USI: Elevating Excellence, Alumni Division Chair; Chair of the Academic Committee of the Accounting Circle, and Chair of the Board of Advisors for the USI Romain School of Business. Additionally, Mr. Hammett currently serves on the Executive Board of the Buffalo Trace Council of the Boy Scouts of America, as Immediate Past President and Executive Committee Member of the Board of the EVSC Foundation, on the EVSC Superintendent’s Business Council, and the Board of Youth First. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Asset/Liability Committee, member of the Loan Committee and IT Committee of Field & Main Bank, a financial institution based in Henderson, KY.
Jeff Howell (CSM, CEM)
Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer
Serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Regency Properties, Mr. Howell provides the strategic direction and leadership for all acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management functions. Mr. Howell joined Regency Properties in January, 2004. As a seasoned executive and entrepreneur, Mr. Howell has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Regency, Mr. Howell served as a Key Account Manager and Technical Service Manager, among many other managerial positions for Vectren Corporation, a Fortune 1000 leading energy delivery corporation in Indiana and Ohio. During his time with Vectren, Mr. Howell founded Midwest Property Management Inc., a property management company focused on the management of residential and commercial real estate.
Mr. Howell received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Supervisions from Purdue University, a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Evansville, and an Executive MBA from the University of Evansville. Mr. Howell has also earned the designations of Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM). He is professionally affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers, a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Indiana, and he holds a general contractor’s license. Mr. Howell serves on a number of Boards of Directors and is a dedicated committee member for many local organizations. Most notably he is a member of the advisory board for the University of Evansville Schroeder Family School of Business; a Board Member for the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana; Treasurer for Bible Baptist Fellowship Church; as well as a Board Member for the Property Owners and Managers Association of Evansville.
Jim Wittman (CCIM, CRX, CLS)
Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Wittman is responsible for the strategic direction of Regency’s shopping center operations which includes the Marketing, Leasing and Business Management departments. Prior to joining Regency in 2000, Mr. Wittman spent five years running a company that owned retail establishments in several states, and he was a stockbroker preceding that. Mr. Wittman holds professional designations in the real estate industry as a Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX), Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) and earning the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) title. Mr. Wittman is professionally affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for which he has been a contributor on numerous panels, led round-table discussions, and served as the organization’s Indiana Operations Chair. Mr. Wittman currently serves as an ambassador for the International Council Shopping Centers. Mr. Wittman has held various positions with the Indiana Chapter of CCIM as well, including President.
Mr. Wittman serves on various not-for-profit boards, including Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement of Southwest Indiana, for whom he was the Chairman of the Board for 2 years. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Institute for Banking and Finance at the University of Evansville. Mr. Wittman is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics.
Kevin Rock (CPA, MBA, CGMA)
Vice President, Accounting & Finance
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer
Appointed in 2015, Mr. Rock serves as Vice President of Accounting/Finance and Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the finance, accounting, and tax functions of Regency. Prior to joining Regency, Mr. Rock has worked in executive management positions with large multi-national organizations leading various areas including financial reporting, strategic planning, working capital management, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, and acquisitions/merger analysis.Appointed in July 2016, Mr Rock was also named Treasurer.
Mr. Rock received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1992. He also received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana in 2002. Mr.Rock holds professional designations as a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, Institute of Management Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Rock is a member of Green River Kiwanis, a Board Member for S.W.I.R.C.A. & More, and also is an active member at First Christian Church in Newburgh.
Tracy Stutz (PHR, SHRM-CP)
Vice President, Human Resources and Administration
Ms. Stutz serves as Vice President, Human Resources and Administration to Regency. She joined Regency Properties in 2015. Ms. Stutz is an experienced human resources professional, with over 23 years of experience. Prior to joining Regency, Ms. Stutz worked with two national companies maintaining an upper level management role. She also holds several human resources certifications including: PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resources Management-Certified Professional), and EHRA (Evansville Human Resources Association) member.
Ms. Stutz received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She then continued her education and received her Master in Public Administration from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee.
