The Board of Regency Commercial Associates LLC is pleased to announce that Kevin Hammett will become President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2012 upon Jim McKinney’s retirement. Hammett has been Vice President of Accounting and Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Regency since 2007. He has been responsible for the accounting and finance functions of Regency while serving as an officer and on its Executive Committee. Hammett, who earned a BS in Accounting from University of Southern Indiana, is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. Hammett is actively engaged in the community through his membership on the Board of Directors for the EVSC Foundation and Patchwork Central. He has also served as President and Executive Committee Member of the University of Southern Indiana Alumni Council and Vice Chair for Alumni on the USI Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally, he is a current member of the Accounting Circle and Board of Advisors of the USI School of Business.
Kevin and his wife, Michelle, have five children and attend Olivet Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

We believe he will be an outstanding CEO as we continue to navigate successfully in these challenging times,” said McKinney, who had led the company for over 20 years and will remain as Chairman of the Board of the organization.
Regency Properties is an Evansville, Indiana based commercial real estate company that owns and manages shopping centers and properties in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and Florida. Specializing in bringing improved retail and service centers to mid-sized county seat communities, the company acquired seven additional shopping centers in the past 12 months, resulting in a total of 30 properties operated throughout those eight states.
