Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, is pleased to announce and welcome Sean Downs as Staff Accountant. Sean will be responsible for assisting with month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, real estate taxes and insurance in the Accounting Department.

Downs is a Morganfield, Kentucky native and moved to Evansville, Indiana nearly 18 years ago. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He has over 15 years of accounting experience in previous positions with SS&C Technologies, Azimuth, and Shoe Carnival in Evansville, Indiana.

“Sean will be a great addition to our accounting team,” stated Barry Paddock, Controller. “His previous work experience will be an asset for Regency as we continue to grow our portfolio.”

Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, recently acquired their first retail shopping center in Tennessee.

Kimball Crossing, 285,268 square foot retail shopping center, is located at 525 Kimball Crossing Drive in Kimball, TN. Kimball Crossing is the dominant shopping center in the city and is anchored by Wal-Mart and Goody’s, the center also features a good mix of national shops including, Goodwill, Hibbett Sports, Cato, and Dollar Tree.

“We are excited to expand our national footprint to Tennessee,” stated Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer Jeff Howell.  “Kimball Crossing is a well-positioned shopping center that is a great example of our County Seat Program.”

Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, recently acquired two centers in Elkins, WV and one center in Summersville, WV. With this acquisition, Regency now owns and manages four properties in West Virginia including Country Roads Plaza in Hinton. The three centers will add a combined total of 319,194 square feet to Regency’s growing portfolio.

Merchants Walk in Summersville, WV, is a 145, 127 square foot retail shopping center.  This shopping center has a great mix of national and regional tenants which include: Dollar Tree, AT&T, Hibbett Sports, Peebles, and Anytime Fitness. There are a few spaces available for lease in this center.

Valley Pointe in Elkins, WV, is 118,379 square feet and is anchored by Peebles.  The center also features regional and local tenants such as Mattress Warehouse, Game Stop, El Herradura, and GNC.

The Plantation in Elkins, WV, is a 55,688 square feet shopping center anchored by Goodwill.  This retail shopping center has a strong line up of national tenants such as Dollar Tree, Anytime Fitness, and Cricket Wireless.  The daily average traffic count for this center is 19,553.

Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, has added Austin Ehrhart as the finance and accounting department intern for the fall semester.

Ehrhart is a Boonville native. He currently attends the University of Southern Indiana and anticipates graduating in May with his Bachelor of Science in Finance.  He also was a fitness consultant at the University of Southern Indiana.

“We are excited to offer opportunities for college students to work with Regency,” stated Tracy Stutz, Vice President of Human Resources and Administration.  “Austin will get to spend time working with our team and gaining valuable work experience.”


Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in County Seat Communities, announces the addition of Link Dierks to the Asset Management department. He joins the team in the newly created role as an Asset Management Analyst where he will be responsible for conducting quantitative, economic, and financial analysis on the long-term performance of Regency’s operating properties.

Dierks is an Evansville native where he attended the University of Evansville.  He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics in December 2017. While at the University, he actively participated in student organizations and volunteered for community events, including the Economics Club, Red Fox Track and Trail, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
