Regency Properties, owners of the Bedford Plaza shopping center in Bedford, Indiana, announced that Bedford Cellular will open a 1,224 square foot store in the center this week.
Bedford Cellular is a family owned business that provides national cellular service through Verizon Wireless. The company recently became a franchise of Wireless Zone.
The Bedford Plaza store is a relocation of the business that has operated on West 16th Street in Bedford, Indiana. Darren Fortner, President of Bedford Cellular, assures his customers that the new location will continue to serve their needs even better than before.
“It’s more accessible to customers and provided a great opportunity to redesign our store to be more customer friendly and add new staffing,” said Fortner.
Fortner hopes to open the store on Thursday and acknowledges that working with the Regency team has been a very positive experience.
“We’re excited to welcome Bedford Cellular to the group of tenants already serving customers at Bedford Plaza,” said Jim Wittman, Leasing Representative and Vice President of Development and Leasing at Regency Properties. “By bringing new stores and services to Bedford Plaza, we expect additional shoppers, not only to Bedford Cellular, but to the existing businesses, too.”
Bedford Plaza is located just off of Hwy 450 and State Road 37 and provides easy access for customers traveling from Bedford, Mitchell, Paoli, Orleans and Salem, Indiana. The center is anchored by Big Lots and includes Aaron’s, Big Red Liquors, Bob Evans, Growby’s Rent to Own, Mr. Gatti’s, Subway and Tropical Sno.
